Cleaner Connections Terms of Service

  1. About These Terms

These Terms govern your access to and use of Cleaner Connections, including our website, marketplace, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

  1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

Cleaner Connections, we, us, or our refers to Cleaner Connections, operated from British Columbia, Canada.

Service means the Cleaner Connections online marketplace.

Account means a registered user account on the Service.

Buyer means a user who books or requests services.

Seller means a user who offers services through the Service.

Services means cleaning, turnover, vehicle cleaning, or related labour-based services listed on the Service.

Order means a booking or agreement made through the Service between a Buyer and a Seller.

Content means any text, images, listings, profiles, reviews, or messages posted on the Service.

You means any person or entity using the Service.

Cleaner Connections does not provide phone support at this time.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your province, territory, or country of residence to use the Service.

By using the Service, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into binding agreements.

  1. Accounts 5.1 Creating an Account

When creating an Account, you agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for keeping your information up to date.

You may not impersonate another person or use a name that infringes someone else’s rights.

5.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your password

All activity that occurs under your Account

If you believe your Account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately.

5.3 No Background Checks

Cleaner Connections does not conduct background checks, identity verification beyond platform requirements, or professional vetting of users. We do not endorse any Buyer or Seller.

Use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk.

5.4 Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate Accounts at any time if:

These Terms are violated

The Service is misused

Required information is false or misleading

You may stop using the Service at any time or request Account deletion by email.

  1. Role of Cleaner Connections

Cleaner Connections is a facilitator only.

We provide a platform for Buyers and Sellers to find and arrange services.

We are not a party to agreements between Buyers and Sellers.

We do not perform, supervise, guarantee, or insure any services.

Any agreement formed is strictly between the Buyer and the Seller.

  1. Listings, Bookings, and Payments 7.1 Listings

Sellers are responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate, lawful, and up to date.

Cleaner Connections does not guarantee listing accuracy or availability.

7.2 Bookings

When a Buyer places an Order, they agree to the Seller’s terms as shown at the time of booking.

Bookings may be subject to availability, errors, or cancellation.

7.3 Payments

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Cleaner Connections does not store credit card information.

Payment providers operate under their own terms and conditions.

7.4 Service Fees

Cleaner Connections may charge service or platform fees. Any applicable fees are disclosed before checkout and may change from time to time.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

If a Buyer cancels, service fees may be non-refundable.

If a Seller cancels, the Buyer will generally receive a refund.

Refund decisions may depend on timing, circumstances, and platform policies.

Cleaner Connections may assist with disputes but has final discretion regarding refunds processed through the platform.

  1. Content 9.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of Content you post. By posting Content, you grant Cleaner Connections a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for operating and promoting the Service.

9.2 Prohibited Content

You may not post Content that is:

Illegal or misleading

Abusive, discriminatory, or defamatory

Spam or unauthorized advertising

Infringing on intellectual property

Impersonating others

We may remove Content or restrict Accounts at our discretion.

  1. Intellectual Property

All platform design, branding, and original content belong to Cleaner Connections or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, or use Cleaner Connections branding without written permission.

  1. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

Cleaner Connections makes no warranties regarding:

Service quality or outcomes

Accuracy of listings

Reliability of users

Continuous or error-free operation

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Cleaner Connections is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Total liability is limited to the amount you paid through the Service, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions may limit these exclusions; in such cases, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

  1. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. Cleaner Connections is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated where reasonable.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
