Use it or Lose it

Our mission is to support our locals. Our local hard working guys and gals, and our local business owners on the north island. Around here, you shouldn’t need a college degree to make a good living or be successful. You shouldn’t have to sell your work to someone a thousand miles away just to get by. Among us there's enough grit, ancient wisdom and pioneer spirit to hold our own and thrive.

We believe strong communities look after their own. That means supporting local micropreneurs, entrepreneurs, homeowners, and families who want to live and stay here. As we rely more and more on tourism, we want the North Island to be known as a place that’s well cared for by the people who live and work here. When locals are supported, the whole community is stronger.

We’re keeping it small on purpose. Around here, reputation matters, and you don’t stay anonymous for long. We’d rather build something that works for our neighbours than chase growth. By keeping this marketplace local, we can meet the real needs of North Island life and use a fair, common-sense rating system where people are accountable to each other.

It’s open to anyone who lives full- or part-time in Woss or north of Woss, and who’s part of this community. It's free for all providers, while customers pay a small (5%) commission on each booking which funds the maintenance of the platform. Cleaner Connections can only stay online if used, so it's up to you to keep it alive.
